DMCA / Copyright Policy

HotSoftwares.com (“Hot Softwares,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users, vendors, and third parties who access or use our platform (“Site”) to do the same.

This DMCA / Copyright Policy describes the procedures we follow to respond to allegations of copyright infringement in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (“DMCA”).

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content available on or through HotSoftwares.com infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notification (“DMCA Notice”) to our designated Copyright Agent.

Your DMCA Notice must include:

• A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.

• A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Site (including URLs, screenshots, or other identifiers).

• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

• A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

• A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

2. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to our Copyright Agent.

Your counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.

• Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.

• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

• A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if outside of the United States, that you consent to jurisdiction in any judicial district in which Hot Softwares may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the DMCA Notice.

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we may reinstate the material in question unless the original complainant files a legal action within 10 business days.

3. Vendor Responsibility for Submitted Content

Vendors submitting software listings, logos, screenshots, and other materials to HotSoftwares.com represent and warrant that they own the necessary rights or have obtained proper authorization to use such content.

• Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hot Softwares from any claims arising from the use of their submitted content.

• Hot Softwares reserves the right to remove vendor content at its sole discretion if we receive a valid DMCA Notice or determine the content may infringe on third-party rights.

4. Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, Hot Softwares has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, users or vendors who are determined to be repeat infringers.

A “repeat infringer” is defined as any user or vendor for whom we have received multiple DMCA Notices within a specified period or who we otherwise reasonably determine to be engaging in infringing activity.

5. Limitation of Liability

Hot Softwares acts as a neutral online platform for software listings and does not monitor all submitted content. We are not responsible for content posted by third parties and have no obligation to pre-screen, monitor, or remove content except as required by law.
